Risk disclosure

Cryptocurrency swaps are irreversible and prices are volatile. Please understand these risks before you send funds.

  • Irreversibility. Once a blockchain transaction is confirmed it cannot be undone by us or anyone else. Sending to a wrong address, on a wrong network, or of a wrong asset may result in permanent loss.
  • Price movement. Quotes are estimates. The rate is determined when your deposit confirms, so you may receive more or less than quoted. Large moves can cause a swap to pause and refund instead of completing.
  • Network conditions. Congestion, high fees or chain reorganisations can delay confirmations and payouts beyond the estimated time.
  • Third-party execution. Swaps are executed by independent liquidity partners. Their availability, limits and compliance screening are outside our control and can affect your swap.
  • Regulatory. Laws on cryptocurrency vary and change. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service is lawful where you are, and for any tax consequences.
  • Operational. Software can fail. We design for safety — never retrying order creation blindly, never inventing status — but bugs, outages and delays are possible. Your funds are never held by us, so the worst case is delay or a refund, not an ovlo balance you cannot access.

Only swap amounts you can afford to have delayed or, in the worst case of user error, lost.
